In Andrada, we protect the planet by reproducing critical precious metals within a
high-tech state-of-the-art “closed-loop” lithium-ion batteries recycling.
We are operating clean and environmentally friendly proprietary mechanical and
chemical processes to provide for battery grade cathode precursors and lithium
hydroxide/carbonate for next generation li-ion batteries.
The Challenge
Lithium-ion batteries are providing energy for improving the quality of our living. The
rise of electric vehicles (EVs) and the associated growth of battery gigafactories
produces today thousands and tomorrow millions of tons of waste lithium-ion
batteries. While they are high value and precious, they are very hard to be
decomposed to their basic elements.
The Solution/Our Services
It requires the creation of a clean closed-loop lithium-ion battery recycling, which but
is in its infancy and needs to develop quickly to cope with the rising demands.
